KLA Organizations is a non-profit organization. Founded with a passion to help the community and enhance the experience of education in young people.

To help fund the nonprofit, we built a brand around these sayings inspired by interactions with students.

Board 

Katrina L. Alexander, Founder

Katrina is a graduate of Westside High School. She received her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies degree from North Greenville University. Her concentrations include Business Management and Education. She has an MS in Psychology from University of Phoenix and a Graduate Certificate in College Teaching and Learning from Walden University.

Katrina is an Educator and student advocate. She has work experience in Education expanding from Early Childhood to Collegiate since her first job as an Assistant Teacher with the YMCA Preschool in 2000. She has substituted K-12, middle school Behavior Interventionist, taught Psychology to high school students for dual enrollment, in addition to being an Adjunct Instructor of Psychology.

 

Kyle L. Alexander, Co-Founder

Kyle is an active middle school student. He is the cameraman for the football teams at school. He plans to try out for basketball and track this year. His favorite subject is Math. Lastly, he enjoys gaming and playing outside with friends in the neighborhood.

 

 

Deborah A. Gray, Chief Financial Officer

Deborah is a graduate of Westside High School and Tri County Technical College.

She retired from Bank of America after 16 years and retired from Upstate Federal Credit Union after 12 years.

Community service was part of the credit union, and they partnered with the Brotherhood group and Habitat for Humanity. Deborah and her coworker would teach money management classes at the Westside Community Center every Thursday. These classes were free and open to the public. The money management classes were tools to help take care of your financial future, how to save for future emergencies, debt consolidation, improving your credit score and working toward owning your own home.
